Loki the Wetterhoun "Translated to English as Frisian Water Dog". Originally bred over 400 years ago in the Frisian region of the Netherlands for hunters of Otters and Water foul. The breed is described as reserved and an excellent "guard dog" though never aggressive which also makes them great family dogs. These dogs almost disappeared during WWII but were brought back through careful breeding.
