The Further Bus 08.15.2014
A surreal site, the further bus parked at the Sandy Valley Campground in North East Pennsylvania. The bus made it's first voyage in 1964 after being purchase by Ken Kesey author of "One flew over the Cuckoos nest". The original further bus traveled with Ken Kesey and his Merry Band of Prankster until 1969 after a trip to the Woodstock Festival. Pictured here is the new further bus acquired by Ken in 1990. The Bus is being driven across the U.S. on it's 50th anniversary tour by Ken's son Zane.
